I am currently the Founder & CEO of the Modern CFO, a business specializing in empowering SMES to drive growth and efficiency. As a Chartered Accountant specializing in finance transformation, business intelligence, CFO advisory, and business process mapping and reporting, I am passionate about helping businesses to reach their goals. I began my career at Naspers, a listed multinational corporate group, where I spent 4 years building a strong foundation in best practice finance processes and reporting. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with over 30 dynamic businesses across various industries including fintech, SAAS, e-commerce, creative agencies and professional services – leading initiatives that drive finance transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. I have also contributed to NGO projects involving large-scale funding, where I implemented finance & procurement policies and procedures. I am passionate about bridging the gap between financial strategy and operational execution – helping businesses not only survive but thrive through smarter finance, governance, and analytics.
